About the Service Associate Role

Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah is seeking a Service Associate to join their Service Center team. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual to manage incoming calls and guest requests, ensuring efficient and professional service delivery within the hotel's operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promptly answer all calls directed to the Service Centre and ensure requests are forwarded to the appropriate departments for follow-through.
  • Handle all incoming calls with professionalism and care, adhering strictly to hotel and Shangri-La policies and procedures.
  • Accurately record and manage all wake-up call requests, ensuring they are handled correctly.
  • Record and relay guest requests to the relevant departments, performing follow-up calls to guests to confirm satisfaction with resolved service or facility issues.
  • Facilitate operator-assisted calls.
  • Record guest messages accurately.
  • Ensure the correct transmission and receipt of facsimile communications.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all hotel emergency procedures and how to respond effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 0-1 year of relevant working experience is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including various shifts.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
  • Must be responsible and capable of taking initiative.
  • A pleasant, friendly, and cheerful demeanor is expected.
  • This position is open to Saudi Nationals only.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time role based at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah. The Service Associate will be an integral part of the Service Center team, contributing to the overall guest experience.
