About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Data Warehouse & Integration Senior Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah Region. This full-time position is central to the design, development, and optimization of our Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions, requiring a hands-on approach to complex data integration challenges.

Role Purpose and Scope

The successful candidate will be responsible for the detailed design of processes and integration for extracting, cleansing, transforming, and loading data into the Data Warehouse. This involves utilizing engineered systems and ETL tools such as ODI and Informatica. A core aspect of this role is to understand overall business requirements and integrate them into the design, leveraging strong ETL design and integration skills to extract data from both on-premise and cloud applications, including E-business Suite, Oracle Retail Applications, Oracle Hyperion, CRM, and Taleo.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop logical and physical designs for the Data Warehouse, ensuring consistency and integration with existing application architectures.
• Maintain and communicate processes and standard practices related to the design, development, and implementation of Data Warehouse and BI application solutions.
• Foster and encourage Data Warehouse solution reuse across on-premise and cloud applications.
• Research and evaluate Data Warehouse, BI, and system integration technologies, providing recommendations for introduction, phase-out, and retirement.
• Define data element requirements, including history, timeliness, and frequency of data.
• Support the company’s Cloud Application initiatives and develop on-premise and cloud application integrations.
• Test Data Warehouse and BI solutions, preparing for, administering, and validating results of unit, vendor, component integration, system acceptance, deployment readiness, and user acceptance testing.
• Design, deploy, and install Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence software and infrastructure according to business requirements and technology evolution.
• Perform maintenance of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure through activities such as patching, upgrading, and troubleshooting.
• Perform periodical backups for applications and databases to ensure data and application availability and mitigate data loss risks.
• Ensure performance optimization for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure through configuration review, identifying improvements, and taking appropriate actions like database and application tuning.
• Ensure high availability of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications by scheduling maintenance and increasing availability of current solutions to limit unplanned interruptions.
• Design and develop automated, complex, and efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes to enable business intelligence reporting.
• Manage data security by designing database and application infrastructure in alignment with security requirements, managing user access, monitoring compliance, and mitigating risks.
• Monitor Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure and ETL processes using appropriate tools to ensure service availability and data accuracy.
• Support other business functions with specific reporting by gathering requirements and building Data Warehouse capability to enhance decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with data security and integrity policies and procedures by monitoring database access and other specific actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all systems and servers for user support and internal reference.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in the design, development, and optimization of Data Warehouse and BI solutions.
• Proficiency in ETL design and integration skills, including experience with ETL tools such as ODI and Informatica.
• Ability to understand overall business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Experience extracting data from various on-premise and cloud applications, including but not limited to E-business Suite, Oracle Retail Applications, Oracle Hyperion, CRM, and Taleo.
