Role Overview: Deployment Specialist

Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance is seeking a Deployment Specialist to join their team in the Makkah Province, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is responsible for the coordination and execution of software deployments, ensuring the successful delivery of software releases to production environments while minimizing risk and operational disruption. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in software deployment or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software development, quality assurance, infrastructure, and operations teams to plan, coordinate, and execute software deployments according to release schedules and deployment plans.
• Develop and maintain deployment scripts, automation tools, and deployment pipelines to streamline and automate the deployment process, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor deployment activities during and after deployment, verify successful completion, and troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors encountered.
• Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to release processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Participate in post-deployment activities, including validation, performance testing, and incident management, to ensure the stability and reliability of deployed software.
• Assist in preparing release notes, documenting key features, enhancements, and fixes included in each release.
• Document deployment processes, procedures, and best practices, maintaining accurate records of deployment activities, configurations, and changes for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Work experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in software deployment, release management, or similar roles.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in the Makkah Province, with potential work across Jeddah and Makkah.
