About the Facility Management Engineer Role

A confidential government entity is seeking a Facility Management Engineer to join their team in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in facility operations and maintenance.

Role Overview

The Facility Management Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of building systems and facilities. This role supports daily FM operations, involves conducting inspections, resolving technical issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
  • Review and approve technical submittals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot system failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company standards.
  • Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facility Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in facility operations or maintenance engineering.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of building systems and facility management best practices.
  • Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS systems and relevant engineering software.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Makkah, with potential work activities in Jeddah and Makkah.
