About the Role

Amazon is seeking a full-time ICQA Supervisor (Saudi National) to join its operations in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to the MEATR ICQA function, focusing on strategic planning, resource allocation, and maintaining high standards of productivity. The Supervisor will be responsible for identifying training needs, managing absence and performance, and providing continuous coaching and monitoring within their department.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities, ensuring overall safety, quality, performance, and member experience within either Inbound or Outbound FC operations.
• Set and clarify departmental requirements and expectations, fostering an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
• Understand and enforce safety procedures, ensure safe working practices, and document all accidents or incidents in a timely manner.
• Prioritize tasks appropriately and consistently meet deadlines.
• Exhibit professional behavior while effectively managing ambiguity and adapting to change.
• Drive operational results and proactively address obstacles.
• Ensure company policies are communicated clearly and enforced consistently.

Leadership and Development

• Source and nurture ideas, integrating them into the creation of improvement plans.
• Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and within the entire organization.
• Work closely with HR, Facilities, Safety, and IT to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.
• Mentor, provide training, and facilitate development opportunities to optimize performance, creating organizational depth and supporting individual growth.
• Recognize top performance, provide coaching, and implement progressive discipline for poor performance.

Operational Excellence

• Track production metrics and utilize data to develop strategies for continuous improvement and reporting to management.
• Assist with the establishment of long-term operational strategic plans.
• Propose and implement improvements in equipment and processing methods.
• Conduct daily and weekly timecard reviews to ensure pay accuracy.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for the ICQA Supervisor position are required to be Saudi Nationals and should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment and Expectations

This is a full-time role that requires flexibility, including rotating to other shifts or departments, and working extended hours and holidays as needed. Employees are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of their shift and remain at least 30 minutes after the end of their shift to complete essential tasks such as pass-downs, reports, and timecard reviews.
