Binzagr CO-RO LTD. is seeking a Junior Lab Technician to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers an opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience to contribute to essential laboratory operations and quality assurance processes within the company.

The Junior Lab Technician Role

The Junior Lab Technician plays a crucial role in supporting daily laboratory functions and ensuring that all quality control standards are consistently met. This position involves performing various tests and preparations, contributing directly to the integrity and quality of products by adhering to established protocols and reporting mechanisms.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests according to defined lab methods, providing support to the Lab Technician as needed.
• Report process control-related issues to superiors to facilitate required actions.
• Prepare samples as per the sampling plan for weight analysis and packaging integrity tests.
• Refill hygiene and sanitation paraphernalia, dispensers, and disinfectant in the Tetra production hall.
• Maintain the HOLD AREA, ensuring cleanliness and proper segregation of products received through NCRs, Customer Complaints, and Out of Specs.
• Ensure the General Laboratory and its facilities are clean, adhering to the daily GLP checklist.
• Act as a custodian of GMP practices, ensuring compliance to achieve set targets for audits.
• Conduct routine control tests for product quality parameters to ensure full compliance with approved standards.
• Carry out additional relevant tasks as advised by the direct supervisor.
• Adhere to all BCR safety instructions and procedures, reporting any safety hazards or near misses immediately to the safety officer.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Junior Lab Technician position should possess:

• A minimum of 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in a laboratory setting.
• A foundational understanding of laboratory operations and quality control principles.
• The ability to follow defined methods and procedures accurately.

This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and safety within the laboratory and production areas. The successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to ensure operational excellence and product integrity, while strictly adhering to all company safety protocols.
