About Shangri-La Hotel, Jeddah

Shangri-La Jeddah is situated on the new Jeddah Waterfront along the Red Sea. The hotel features floor-to-ceiling windows and interiors designed to reflect the surrounding sea and beaches. Amenities include a dedicated Kids Club and supervised play area, alongside various dining concepts.

The Role of Laundry Supervisor

As a Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of linen, uniform, and guest laundry operations within the hotel. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and requires familiarity with laundry equipment and processes. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Report for duty in full, clean, smart, and well-groomed attire.
Accurately sign in and out at the beginning and end of each shift.
Prepare daily production forms as required.
Conduct routine checks of the work area for necessary preparations.
Inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work area before concluding the shift.
Shut down steam pipes, switches, and the main power panel (for the last shift).
Hand over dirty uniforms to the Linen Room.
Adhere to environmentally friendly practices, including waste reduction, recycling, and reuse.

Qualifications and Requirements

A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a similar role.
Willingness to work extended duty hours when necessary.
Familiarity with laundry operations and equipment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, within the Shangri-La Hotel. The role involves working in a dynamic hospitality environment focused on maintaining high standards of service.
