About the Loss Prevention Supervisor Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor for a full-time position in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah. This role requires a candidate with 2-5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting property-wide patrols, securing rooms, and assisting guests with room access.
  • Organizing and participating in emergency response drills and conducting daily physical hazard and safety inspections.
  • Performing investigations, interviews, and key control audits.
  • Monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV) and alarm systems.
  • Authorizing, monitoring, and documenting access to secured areas.
  • Assisting guests and employees during emergency situations, responding to accidents, and administering first aid or CPR as needed.
  • Gathering information and completing comprehensive reports, while maintaining strict confidentiality of all documents and releasing information only to authorized individuals.
  • Defusing disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures, and resolving safety hazard situations.
  • Handling interruptions and complaints, and escorting unauthorized individuals from the property.
  • Ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and utilizing proper code responses when calling for assistance.
  • Providing necessary paperwork to employees.
  • Assisting management with employee training, motivation, and coaching, serving as a role model and the initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions, and completing required safety training and certifications.
  • Maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, and protecting company assets.
  • Welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, and expressing genuine appreciation.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and listening and responding appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience is necessary.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is mandatory.
  • No specific license or certification is listed as a requirement.

Physical Requirements and Abilities

Candidates must be able to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print. The role requires the ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects. Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems is necessary. The position demands the ability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations, such as running or jogging. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire work shift is expected. Candidates must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing over 75 pounds with assistance. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are required for grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight. The role may involve moving through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is part of the job duties. Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors is also expected.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Makkah, with responsibilities that may extend to Jeddah. The role involves working within a hotel and resort environment.
