About the Role

Al-Khaleej Computers & Electronic Systems is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves supporting a prominent bank. The role focuses on the technical administration, development, and support of Oracle ERP (***** systems, ensuring robust performance and functionality for critical banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will manage a comprehensive range of tasks, encompassing application development, technical support, system integration, and performance optimization within the Oracle ERP environment. Primary duties include:

• Developing and customizing Oracle ERP (***** components using Oracle Forms, Reports (10g/12c), and BI Publisher.
• Utilizing Oracle Workflow Builder for business process automation.
• Creating and maintaining PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures, APIs, and custom concurrent programs.
• Providing technical support for key Oracle ERP modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, and HRMS/Payroll.
• Troubleshooting system issues and delivering timely resolutions.
• Designing and developing integrations using REST/SOAP web services and Oracle public APIs.
• Conducting PL/SQL optimization and performance tuning.
• Preparing technical documentation including MD050, MD070, TE020, and deployment guides.

Application Development and Customization

This role requires significant development work to enhance and extend Oracle ERP functionalities. Specific tasks include:

• Developing and customizing Oracle ERP (***** components with Oracle Forms, Reports (10g/12c), and BI Publisher.
• Leveraging Oracle Workflow Builder for process automation and design.
• Developing and maintaining PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures, and APIs.
• Creating Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions (RICE) components, along with custom concurrent programs.
• Supporting development efforts for new modules, system enhancements, and upgrades.

Technical Support and System Integration

The role provides essential technical and functional support, alongside developing robust system integrations:

• Providing technical support for core Oracle ERP modules, including Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA), Supply Chain (PO, INV, OM), and HRMS/Payroll (as applicable).
• Analyzing business requirements and designing scalable solutions.
• Supporting patching, cloning, and maintenance tasks, including during ** online patching (adop).
• Developing integrations using REST/SOAP web services, Oracle public APIs, and interface tables.
• Implementing secure data exchange processes with external systems, including APEX/OAF-based solutions.

Performance, Quality Assurance, and Collaboration

Maintaining high standards of system performance and code quality is crucial, alongside fostering team collaboration:

• Conducting PL/SQL optimization and tuning to ensure efficient system operation.
• Performing code reviews and ensuring compliance with EBS development standards.
• Working closely with functional consultants and technical teams.
• Mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices in development.
• Actively participating in system design and architecture discussions.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong technical background and proven experience in Oracle ERP environments:

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Oracle ERP development and technical support.
• Proficiency in Oracle ERP (***** components, including Forms, Reports (10g/12c), BI Publisher, and Workflow Builder.
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL development, optimization, and tuning.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services, Oracle public APIs, and interface tables for system integration.
• Familiarity with technical documentation standards (MD050, MD070, TE020).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective solutions.
