About the P247 Technician Role

Raytheon, a leader in the aerospace and defense industry, is seeking a P247 Technician to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting the operation and maintenance of critical testing equipment.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The P247 Technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Patriot Transmitter Tank Test Stations and their associated cooling systems. Key duties include:

• Operating and maintaining the test station for the PAT 247 Patriot transmitter tank.
• Executing acceptance tests, combustion processes, troubleshooting, and repairing final tanks and the high-pressure primary power supply actuator of the transmitter regulator.
• Ensuring the operational readiness of high-pressure power supply devices for regulators, including those removed for repair.
• Identifying and isolating defects in unserviceable tanks to the component level.
• Replacing and repairing unserviceable parts.
• Testing and returning Units Under Test (UUT) to a serviceable condition.
• Participating in On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs.
• Identifying faulty work practices and reviewing correct techniques for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Preparing and submitting maintenance reports and Systems Problem Reports (SPRs).
• Performing other related duties as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Diploma in Electronics from an accredited college or institute.
• Must be a Saudi national.
• A minimum of 8 years of prior experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment at a central maintenance station and/or in a factory environment focused on testing, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repairing electronic units and subassemblies.
• Possess good and comprehensive experience with basic and advanced electronics.
• Ability to test combustion processes and troubleshoot/repair primary and final high-pressure regulator supply cabinets within the Patriot transmitter group.
• Proficiency in using engineering documents, schematic drawings, general kits, and general-purpose commercial test equipment.
