Role Overview

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Pool & Recreation Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is responsible for creating and managing recreational activities, ensuring guest safety, and maintaining facility standards. The role involves direct guest interaction, supporting team members, and adhering to established operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop recreational activity agendas and promotional materials.
• Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment, reporting low stock levels to management.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for participation in recreation activities.
• Promote a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
• Provide comprehensive information to guests regarding available recreation facilities and activities.
• Process customer orders or transactions and collect payments as required.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, recommending improvements to organizational quality.

Safety and Operational Compliance

• Promote and enforce recreation facility rules and regulations to ensure guest and member safety.
• Observe activity within the recreational facility and respond appropriately to emergencies in accordance with local operating procedures.
• Identify situations where guests may be unable to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisors.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets.

Guest Service and Team Support

• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
• Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a related field. The following qualifications are required:

• Required Certifications: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Recreation and Fitness Equipment certification, and any other certifications or training mandated by local and state agencies.
• Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or *** equivalent, at least 1 year of related work experience, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

The role requires physical capabilities including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods; moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance (and objects over 50 pounds with assistance); grasping, turning, and manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills; and navigating narrow, confined, elevated, sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also necessary.
