About the Role

Amazon Worldwide Operations is seeking a Channel Team Lead for its AMET Reverse Logistics team in Jeddah. This full-time position focuses on managing and optimizing reverse logistics operations within the MENA region.

Role Overview

As a Channel Team Lead within the Reverse Logistics Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple sites from an operational and compliance perspective. This role requires close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project launches and achievement of operational metrics. A strong sense of ownership and customer obsession is key to identifying patterns and disruptions in operations, requiring deep dives into data and an understanding of its implications.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly understand business challenges in transportation operations, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and suggesting areas for improvement.
• Map business requirements, understand processes, analyze workflows, design solutions, and prepare functional specifications.
• Develop and report on performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experience.
• Acquire extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and apply them to solve business problems.
• Design, develop, pilot, and roll out enterprise-wide programs focused on performance improvement, cycle time reduction for returns, delivery experience, financial auditing, and identification of alternate delivery services.

Daily Operations

• Monitor daily program performance.
• Develop and execute action plans to achieve program targets.
• Manage ramp-ups and scouting activities.
• Oversee vendor management.
• Prepare daily performance summaries.
