About the Logistics Supervisor Role

Amazon is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for its AMET Operations team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field. The role involves leading a team to achieve productivity targets and operational goals within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily management of departmental duties and workflow.
• Assign tasks to associates to meet workflow requirements and daily production KPIs.
• Conduct team stand-up briefs, deliver associate feedback, and perform floor and vehicle inspections.
• Assist in training and up-skilling new associates.
• Support the tracking, trending, and reporting of departmental metrics.
• Analyze performance to understand successes and failures in meeting departmental delivery and FC KPIs.
• Manage the tracking, reporting, and maintenance of hours and schedules.
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents as needed.
• Contribute to improving product flow through the station.
• Identify and address safety hazards and participate in safety initiatives.
• Maintain a full understanding of workflow, daily production goals, and daily associate attendance.

Leadership and Performance Expectations

In this role, you will be expected to lead by example and serve as a role model for safe work behaviors. You will be responsible for motivating your team to meet and exceed departmental production KPIs and goals. The ability to effectively coach and mentor others to succeed is essential.
