About the Operations Supervisor Role

Salehiya Healthcare is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee warehousing and logistics teams. This role is responsible for ensuring that all transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics operations are conducted in a compliant, efficient, accurate, and timely manner. The position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set operational standards to achieve maximum efficiency at competitive costs.
  • Ensure all operational activities are executed with optimal productivity and a customer-centric approach.
  • Foster a collaborative environment through positive relationships with the team and stakeholders.
  • Implement standard operating procedures for daily, weekly, and periodic business processes to ensure optimal business results.
  • Manage delivery vehicle performance to meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Oversee all functions from goods receipt to delivery to Salehiya customers.
  • Provide support to line managers and key personnel in warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to meet company objectives.
  • Maintain effective communication and support line managers with performance reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in service levels, productivity, and route optimization.
  • Collaborate with department managers on the successful launch of key initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure a pleasant and cooperative working environment.
  • Coach operational staff on internal process improvement and service execution.
  • Plan and manage annual and other leaves with the operational manager.
  • Identify and recommend staff training requirements and conduct SOP training for new employees.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of resources such as storage space, manpower, and equipment.
  • Plan, use, and maintain machinery, equipment, consumables, and other resources.
  • Ensure staff adherence to company safety procedures, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and road safety laws.
  • Strictly follow SOPs, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and work instructions, and promote adherence among staff.
  • Report all incidents promptly and accurately to the immediate superior.
  • Coordinate with purchase and maintenance departments for timely calibration of temperature sensors and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or diploma; a Pharmacy or Bio-Medical degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain and related activities.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and leadership.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A "Can-Do" attitude.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the cities of Jeddah and Makkah.
