About the Sales Director Role

proven is seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Director to lead the sales function and drive business growth within the automotive sector. This full-time position is based in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing high-performing sales teams, expanding market share, and building strong relationships with key clients, dealers, and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Lead and develop the sales team and showroom managers to maximize performance and profitability.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for executive management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, fleet accounts, dealers, and strategic partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and sales channels to expand the company's presence.
  • Lead commercial negotiations for major retail, fleet, and corporate sales opportunities.
  • Oversee showroom operations, ensuring consistent sales execution, exceptional customer experience, compliance with company standards, and achievement of key performance indicators.
  • Optimize showroom performance through effective merchandising, pricing, promotional activities, inventory management, and customer engagement initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine sales strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive sales, including leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of automotive retail operations, fleet sales, showroom management, dealer networks, and customer relationship management.
  • Proven success in leading high-performing sales teams and consistently achieving revenue targets.

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting, and performance analytics.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah. The role involves leading sales operations within the automotive sector.
