About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a dedicated Sales Manager to join the team at InterContinental Jeddah. This full-time position requires a professional with a proven track record in sales management within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a client base through direct sales efforts to achieve room night sales and revenue targets.
• Actively prospect and qualify new business opportunities.
• Negotiate guest room rates, meeting services, and hotel amenities within established guidelines.
• Accurately produce and review sales contracts, rate agreements, and event orders.
• Maintain and update client files daily according to departmental procedures.
• Generate monthly sales reports and sales forecasts for the assigned area.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, conventions, and sales trips.
• Interact with guests, airlines, wholesalers, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and other relevant contacts to ensure satisfaction and secure repeat business.
• Organize and conduct special events, site inspections, and presentations for potential clients.
• Entertain clients in compliance with company and hotel policies.
• Follow up with clients post-departure to ensure satisfaction and encourage future bookings.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through inter-departmental communication and coordination.

Additional Duties

• Assist in the development and implementation of sales plans.
• Participate in the annual budgeting and planning process.
• Engage in community relations activities.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to facilitate client services.
• Disseminate relevant sales information to other departments.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher diploma. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based at the InterContinental Jeddah hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
