About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a dedicated Supervisor Loss Prevention to join our team in Makkah. This full-time position requires a professional who can ensure the safety and security of our guests and property. The role is based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities potentially extending to Jeddah.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting regular patrols of all property areas to ensure security.
  • Securing rooms and assisting guests with access.
  • Performing emergency response drills and daily physical hazard/safety inspections.
  • Carrying out investigations and interviews related to security matters.
  • Monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV) and alarm systems.
  • Authorizing, monitoring, and documenting access to secured areas.
  • Assisting guests and employees during emergency situations.
  • Responding to accidents, contacting emergency medical services (EMS), and administering first aid/CPR as needed.
  • Gathering information and completing detailed reports.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of reports and documents, releasing information only to authorized individuals.
  • Defusing disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Resolving safety hazard situations.
  • Handling interruptions and complaints professionally.
  • Escorting unwelcome persons from the property when necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws.
  • Utilizing proper code responses to call for assistance.
  • Providing necessary paperwork to employees.

Employee Support and Conduct

  • Assisting management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
  • Completing required safety training and certifications.
  • Maintaining a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Protecting company assets and maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and responding appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

This role requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. Candidates must possess the ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print. The position also involves visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.

Physical Requirements and Abilities

  • Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
  • Capacity to move at a speed required to respond to work situations, including running, walking, and jogging.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or entire work shifts.
  • Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
  • Capacity to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Makkah, with potential operational involvement in Jeddah. Some states may have additional licensing or registration requirements for this position.
