About the Surgical Sales Representative Role

Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, is seeking a Surgical Sales Representative to join its team in the Asir Region, specifically based in Abha. This full-time position focuses on promoting and selling Medtronic's innovative medical technologies to healthcare professionals. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to Medtronic's mission of alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life by improving patient outcomes through advanced medical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Medtronic products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop, build, and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals.
  • Follow up on leads, assess customer needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits of Medtronic offerings.
  • Educate customers on the company's products and services.
  • Conduct market research, including monitoring customer and competitor activities.
  • Implement market development plans and strategies, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Communicate customer feedback on new or existing products and applications to internal stakeholders, including Research and Development, Operations, and Marketing.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Medical Technology, Nursing, Clinical Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
  • Residency in Abha is required, with prior experience in the Southern Region.
  • Solid exposure to Ministry of Health, public, and private sector accounts.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in medical devices, clinical support, healthcare services, or a related industry.
  • Preference for experience in surgical sales, operating room environments, or general surgery specialties.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver and manage assigned projects.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired results.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Capacity to quickly learn and apply technical and clinical knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Abha, within the Asir Region. The role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory to engage with customers and manage sales activities.
