About the Tamheer - Service Management Internship

Bupa Arabia is offering an internship opportunity for the Tamheer - Service Management program in Jeddah. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience seeking to gain practical knowledge in IT service management processes.

Role Overview

The primary objective of this internship is to ensure the effective delivery and support of ITIL processes and services. This involves covering all ITIL functions to guarantee smooth day-to-day business operations, meeting defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming service requests and incidents using the ITSM tool.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure timely incident resolution.
• Accurately record, update, and close service tickets with detailed documentation.
• Communicate effectively with end-users, providing updates on their requests or incidents.
• Provide on-demand support for urgent router configuration requirements.
• Conduct scheduled monthly and quarterly review sessions.
• Perform site visits as required.
• Ensure timely reporting and closure of assigned tasks.
• Adhere to response time requirements for critical incidents and standard activities.
• Participate in an on-call schedule if applicable for continuous support.
• Monitor software utilization to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
• Ensure all IT assets are correctly tagged and recorded in the asset management system.
• Maintain up-to-date records of warranties, service contracts, and support agreements.

Technical and Operational Skills

• A foundational understanding of wireless security protocols, including WPA2 and WPA3, SSID configuration, and MAC filtering.
• Proficiency in documentation, with hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel.

Required Competencies

• Basic understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts and service ticketing systems.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
