About the Technical Sales Executive Role

CATS Applicant Tracking System is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to promote and sell building materials, construction products, and technical solutions. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and requires 2-5 years of experience. The role focuses on generating new business, nurturing client relationships, providing technical support, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.

Core Responsibilities

The Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and business development within the construction sector. Key duties include identifying new opportunities, promoting company products to a diverse client base including contractors, consultants, architects, and developers, generating inquiries, preparing quotations, and negotiating contracts. A primary objective is to consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Technical Support and Project Engagement

This role involves providing essential technical support to clients. Responsibilities include delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations, recommending suitable products and solutions based on project specifications, and assisting customers with product selection and application requirements. Coordination with technical and engineering teams will be necessary to resolve customer issues. Additionally, the executive will monitor upcoming construction projects and market developments, track project specifications to ensure product approval, and follow up on project tenders and procurement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business Administration with relevant technical sales experience. A minimum of 3 to 7 years of sales experience in the Building Materials, Construction Products, Industrial Products, MEP Solutions, Construction Chemicals, Steel, Cement, Ready Mix, Insulation, HVAC, or Pipes sectors is required.

Technical Knowledge and Market Understanding

A solid understanding of construction specifications and project cycles is essential. Knowledge of the Saudi construction market and industry standards is highly preferred. The ability to read drawings and technical specifications will be advantageous for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah. The role operates within a dynamic sales environment focused on the building materials industry.
