About the Opportunity

Cactus Communications, through its flagship brand Editage, is expanding its global network of freelance contributors. We are seeking a Linguistics Specialist to join our platform, working remotely from Ha'il, Saudi Arabia. This part-time, task-based role supports ongoing AI and language-based projects.

Role Overview

The Linguistics Specialist will contribute to various AI and language-focused initiatives. This role involves engaging in flexible, task-based assignments designed to enhance and refine linguistic data and AI outputs for diverse content areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine text, translations, and captions across general areas such as travel, food, lifestyle, and finance.
• Transcribe conversations and perform quality checks on transcribed content.
• Label or annotate voice, text, or image content for data processing.
• Review and correct AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Assist in localizing content for AI models to suit specific linguistic contexts.
• Accurately identify and label dialect variations within language data.

Required Qualifications

• Near-native level proficiency in the Target Language.
• Strong command of English.
• Excellent attention to detail in linguistic tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently.

Work Arrangement

This position offers a 100% remote work environment, providing flexibility for task-based assignments. Contributors manage their own schedules, undertaking projects on an ad hoc basis as they become available.
