About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a full-time Aftermarket Spare Parts Sales Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who possess strong technical product knowledge and a strategic approach to sales within an inter-company channel.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Aftermarket Spare Parts Sales Engineer serves as a critical link between our customers and internal operations. The primary objective is to drive revenue growth and maximize customer satisfaction by combining deep technical product knowledge with effective account management. This position ensures seamless execution from sales strategy development to order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets for the assigned channel.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary technical and commercial point of contact.
• Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) data to analyze sales pipelines, forecast demand, and maximize sales opportunities.
• Implement pricing strategies in line with the Line of Business (LOB) Annual Operating Plan (AOP), accounting for factory costs (MLP/Ex-Works), shipping, and customs duties.
• Collaborate with inter-company account operations to align sales forecasts with stock planning and inventory management, ensuring optimal product availability.
• Provide consultative support to the service sales team regarding pricing, discounts, key selling points, and customer engagement strategies.

Technical Expertise and Continuous Improvement

• Offer technical support and product expertise, assisting customers in troubleshooting issues and recommending optimal spare parts, upgrades, or service solutions.
• Analyze lost sales opportunities to identify root causes and develop strategies to prevent recurrence, driving continuous improvement.
• Gather and interpret customer feedback and market intelligence to inform sales strategies and identify new product opportunities.
• Identify and implement solutions to increase sales efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and streamline internal processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant sales or engineering field.
• Demonstrated technical product knowledge relevant to aftermarket spare parts.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Proficiency in utilizing sales data and CRM tools, such as Salesforce (SFDC).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cultivating customer relationships and facilitating internal collaboration.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires presence in the specified region to effectively manage accounts and collaborate with internal teams.
