About the Role

Med Market Agency is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead the visual direction of campaigns for prominent brands. This full-time position, based in Jeddah and Makkah, requires a blend of strategic thinking and production expertise to shape compelling visual content across various platforms.

Role Overview

As the Art Director, you will be instrumental in defining the artistic and visual output of the agency. This leadership role involves translating complex brand objectives into impactful visual concepts, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies. The position is suited for individuals who excel in dynamic environments and are adept at transforming creative ideas into visually engaging and strategically sound designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the artistic and visual direction for all agency campaigns, including social media, marketing productions, and multi-dimensional design projects (web, print, video, film).
• Manage, inspire, and mentor the design team, providing clear creative direction, fostering skill development, evaluating work quality, and overseeing project assignments.
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to translate brand objectives into effective visual concepts.
• Oversee the development of visual identities and brand guidelines for clients.
• Liaise with production and camera teams to ensure high visual quality in film and video projects.
• Develop and implement professional design standards for consistency and foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Art Director or in a comparable creative leadership role, with a demonstrated history of managing design teams.
• Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) and Figma.
• Foundational understanding of video and motion graphics principles (*, After Effects).
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi and Gulf market cultural nuances and sensitivities.
• Strong presentation skills for articulating creative concepts to clients and internal teams.
• Organizational skills with experience in project management systems (*, *******, Asana).

Additional Advantages

• Experience in film, video production, and art direction for commercial advertisements.
• Familiarity with on-set production equipment (cameras, lighting, sound).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (designers, editors, crew).
• Background in integrated written and visual content strategies.
• Knowledge of broadcasting and platform standards (Netflix, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).

Work Environment
