About the Role

Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking a dedicated Audiovisual Technician to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and providing technical solutions.

Role Overview

As an Audiovisual Technician, your primary responsibility will be the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for hotel events. You will also provide essential technical support for banquet facilities and event rooms, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and event organizers.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and verify equipment for banquet functions according to daily function sheets, including dismantling and storage.
• Execute assigned tasks to ensure the correct and functional setup of all events.
• Operate audiovisual equipment as required during functions.
• Conduct monthly inventory checks of all equipment used for banquets.
• Maintain daily logs for all outgoing and incoming equipment for external catering banquets.
• Perform assignments as part of the Preventive Maintenance Programme.
• Collaborate and provide assistance to other Engineering colleagues when available and necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the A/V control room and A/V storage room.
• Inspect all function rooms and breakout areas daily, verifying that lights, air conditioning, and other services are defect-free, and promptly repair or replace lamps.
• Carry out any work requested by superiors.

Qualifications and Experience

This role requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of audiovisual equipment and its setup. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to customer service are essential.

Work Environment

The position is based in Makkah and is a full-time role. The successful candidate will work within the hotel's maintenance and events team, contributing to the smooth operation of various functions and events.
