About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join the construction supervision team for the Industrial Valley infrastructure project. This full-time position is based in the Makkah Region, with potential assignments in Jeddah, Makkah, and King Abdullah Economic City.

Role Overview

The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical infrastructure works. This role involves close collaboration with contractors and engineers to maintain adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect the installation of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) power distribution systems.
• Monitor the installation of street lighting and telecommunication infrastructure.
• Review electrical materials, shop drawings, and proposed installation procedures for compliance.
• Ensure all electrical works meet project specifications and relevant safety standards.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities for all electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and provide regular reports.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, project engineers, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Must be a Saudi National.
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience with power distribution systems, street lighting, and telecommunication infrastructure.
• Consultancy or construction supervision experience is preferred.

This is a full-time position located within the Makkah Region, serving projects in Jeddah, Makkah, and King Abdullah Economic City.
