About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Dry Utilities Inspector - Electrical to join their site-based construction supervision team. This full-time position is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is part of a major public realm development project. The role involves ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical dry utility installations within the project scope.

Project Context

The project encompasses the development of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective is to create a vibrant and inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being. The Dry Utilities Inspector - Electrical will play a crucial role in the successful execution of the electrical infrastructure components of this development.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and act promptly on Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor.
• Review shop drawings for compliance with contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
• Report any work found to be non-compliant with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitor the quality of executed works and daily progress on site.
• Maintain daily site activity records, including progress photos, for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports for site deficiencies and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed.
• Ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experience to resolve on-site discipline-related issues.
• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections and work executed.
• Assist in measuring work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of related experience is necessary.
• Experience in direct landscape work is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, site-based position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is part of a construction supervision team working on a large-scale public realm development.
