Electro Mechanical Technician

About the Role

Jotun Saudia Co. Ltd. is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves maintaining assets according to technical standards and manufacturer specifications to ensure equipment reliability. The position reports to the Assistant Manager – Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks following established standards and procedures, ensuring quality and effectiveness. This includes utilizing and providing inputs for data updates in the Matrix Maintenance System, with a focus on Preventive Maintenance actions, Standard Jobs, and spare part lists & inventory control.
• Actively participate in root cause analysis of recurring and critical breakdowns and failures. Troubleshoot faults independently and provide necessary support for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of production lines and industrial equipment.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the basics of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Industrial Electrical, and Mechanical systems. This includes troubleshooting for, but not limited to, Pumps, Gearboxes, blowers, fans, seals, Motors, VFD’s, compressors, HVAC, and bearings.
• Support multiple shifts and conduct emergency maintenance, electrical, and mechanical repairs as required. Support the commissioning process for new assets based on HSEQ and engineering standards with work permit procedures.
• Provide support in different PLC Programming languages, control networks, Industrial control systems, and reading and understanding basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams and drawings.
• Provide support to update all necessary maintenance records and estimations through the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 4-6 years of relevant experience in an electro-mechanical technician role.
