Position Overview

Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to join its team in Makkah. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the physical safety and operational functionality of the hotel's systems, directly contributing to a comfortable and reliable environment for all guests and staff.

Role Contribution

The HVAC Technician plays a critical role in upholding the hotel's standards of hospitality by ensuring all refrigeration and air conditioning systems operate efficiently. This position involves proactive maintenance and timely resolution of technical issues, which are fundamental to delivering a seamless and positive experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Address all refrigeration and A/C trouble reports daily, prioritizing guest room issues.
• Collaborate with A/C and Refrigeration Technicians/Foremen and peers to execute preventive and annual maintenance programs.
• Adhere strictly to all safety rules, regulations, departmental procedures, and instructions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Conduct periodic inspection tours to verify the proper functioning of all refrigeration equipment.
• Execute guest room maintenance according to the established schedule.
• Work in conjunction with electricians to complete electrical tasks as needed, including support for functions and parties.
• Complete daily refrigeration log sheets and accurately record temperatures.
• Provide assistance to peers with their duties when requested by the supervisor.
• Ensure all necessary tools are kept in good working condition and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Attend all departmental meetings and training classes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to interpret Building, Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical drawings.
• Proficiency in fault finding and repair of air-conditioning, refrigeration, and building control systems.
• Solid electrical knowledge.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience with reciprocating Chillers, Air Handling Units (AHU), and cold rooms.
• Knowledge of planned Preventive Maintenance and Safety programs.
• Demonstrated flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work autonomously.
• Good understanding of water treatment techniques and safe handling of chemicals.

This full-time position is based in Makkah and requires a proactive individual capable of managing diverse technical responsibilities within a dynamic hospitality environment. The role involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure seamless operations and adherence to safety protocols.
