About the Logistics Manager Role

Almarai, a leading food and beverage company in the MENA region, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee operations in Makkah. This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity within an FMCG warehouse environment. The role involves managing shift operations across sales depots to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize losses, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the efficient management of all sales depots within the assigned region. This includes ensuring that depots maintain required stock levels while minimizing any depot-related losses. The role also mandates the upkeep of depot hygiene and the strict implementation of operating procedures. A key aspect of this position is monitoring the activities and performance of subordinates to ensure adherence to recommended quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Oversee warehouse operations and activities to ensure adherence to SOPs and company Quality policies.
• Manage product receiving and dispatch processes, focusing on minimizing depot losses.
• Prepare and share weekly and monthly reports on depot performance and activities.
• Maintain adequate stock availability and ensure proper stock rotation practices.
• Optimize space utilization within depots during operational shifts.
• Ensure full compliance with QSHE policies and maintain all related safety records.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within an FMCG warehouse setting is required. Fluency in English is also a necessary qualification for this role.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on managing logistics operations within the Makkah region.
