About the Merchandiser Role at PepsiCo

PepsiCo is seeking a Merchandiser to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on maximizing the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products within assigned retail outlets. PepsiCo products are consumed globally over a billion times daily, supported by a diverse portfolio including LAY’S, DORITOS, CHEETOS, GATORADE, PEPSI, and QUAKER. Role Purpose and Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to ensure optimal on-shelf availability and presentation of PepsiCo products across all designated outlets. The Merchandiser is responsible for executing planograms for both on-shelf and off-shelf displays, reporting any non-compliance to the pre-seller immediately. Additionally, the role involves conducting in-store sampling sessions and promotions when required. Providing timely market information to the pre-seller is crucial for identifying and capitalizing on selling opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

• Visiting assigned outlets according to a daily journey plan.
• Merchandising products in various store locations, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Placing Point of Sale (POS) materials adjacent to product displays where applicable.
• Ensuring all display areas are merchandised in accordance with approved planograms.
• Implementing product rotation using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method and removing substandard products.
• Maintaining a clean and fresh stock of products on shelves at all times.
• Monitoring and reporting on competitor activities.
• Reporting any deviations from agreed terms with customers or outlets.
• Submitting daily reports on prior day's activities to the supervisor.
• Participating in sampling or redemption campaigns as needed.
• Maintaining appropriate personal appearance and professional conduct in line with company standards.

Performance Measures
