About the Merchandiser Role at PepsiCo

PepsiCo is seeking a Merchandiser to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to our sales operations, ensuring our products are optimally presented to consumers. Role Purpose and Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to maximize the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products across all assigned outlets. The Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring products are displayed according to approved planograms, both on and off-shelf. This includes maintaining product freshness and availability, adhering to the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method for stock rotation, and removing any sub-standard products. Additionally, the Merchandiser will be required to report any non-compliance with agreed arrangements to the pre-seller and provide timely market information to identify selling opportunities. Participation in in-store sampling sessions and promotional activities may also be required.

Key Accountabilities

• Execute daily journey plans to visit designated outlets.
• Merchandise products in various access points including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) materials adjacent to product displays where applicable.
• Ensure all displays adhere to approved planograms.
• Implement FIFO stock rotation and remove substandard products.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked shelves at all times.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with outlet customers.
• Submit daily reports on activities to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling or redemption campaigns as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior in line with company conduct standards.

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Key performance measures for this role include Execution Standard, Last Time Availability (LTA) enforcement, and Journey Plan Adherence.
