About the Merchandiser Role

Sitaf Food is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team in the Makkah Region, specifically covering the cities of Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on ensuring optimal product presentation and availability within retail environments.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Merchandiser plays a crucial role in maintaining brand presence and driving sales at the store level. This position is responsible for executing in-store strategies, monitoring market dynamics, and contributing to the achievement of sales and category objectives. The role involves direct interaction with retail partners to ensure brand standards are met and product performance is maximized.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to retail locations to oversee product presentation.
• Ensure consistent product availability, visibility, and correct pricing.
• Verify compliance with planograms and adherence to Must Stock Lists.
• Manage and support Below-The-Line (BTL) activations and in-store promotional activities.
• Report sell-in and sell-out data accurately to the Category Manager.
• Assist with the execution of promotions and new product launches.
• Gather and relay market and competitor insights to the commercial team.
• Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the sales team to prevent stock-outs.
• Ensure proper product rotation and adherence to food safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail merchandising.
• Previous experience within fresh food, dry food, and seafood categories is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Jeddah retail market and major modern trade retailers.
• A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

Work Location and Type
