White Spaces is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Engineer to join its team. This role is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing critical infrastructure across multiple branches to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Role Summary

The Operations and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for managing all maintenance and operational activities across White Spaces' branches. This includes overseeing various systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, as well as managing external contractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The position requires a proactive approach to both preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs across all company branches.
• Monitor the performance and condition of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring the quality and timely completion of work.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess maintenance needs and operational standards.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports detailing inspection findings and maintenance activities.
• Address and resolve maintenance requests efficiently.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety requirements and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in maintenance and operations roles.
• Prior experience within the hospitality or hotel sector is considered an advantage.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to effectively manage contractors and service providers.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed technical reports.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in maintenance scenarios.

Work Location

This position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, within the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing operations across various branches in these cities.
