About the Field Specialist Role

STEM is seeking a part-time Field Specialist to join our team. This role involves shadowing pharmaceutical representatives to observe their interactions with customers and subsequently preparing detailed reports based on these observations. The position is project-based and offers the potential for long-term collaboration for individuals seeking project-related work.

Core Responsibilities

• Coordinate with sales representatives to schedule field shadowing days.
• Observe face-to-face interactions between sales representatives and customers without disruption.
• Conduct a 60-90 minute interview with the sales representative during the field day.
• Submit structured reports (workbooks), translated into English, within 24-48 hours of the field visit, based on observations.
• Attend a 30-60 minute online session before each project to understand objectives and provide feedback.
• Participate in project debrief calls and offer feedback to support the development of final recommendations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in sales, marketing, or market research within the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industries is required.
• Fluent command of both written and oral Arabic and English.
• A Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a marketing, science, or data focus.
• Availability for 1-3 days during the week when a project is active.
• Flexibility to work from morning to evening as project demands require.
• Willingness to travel within the country for project assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Essential Skills and Attributes

Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and demonstrate excellent listening skills. The ability to manage workload effectively and adapt to varying project schedules is also important for this role.

Work Arrangement and Collaboration

This is a part-time, appointment-based position. The role offers significant flexibility in managing your workload and the opportunity to travel domestically. You will be working with a well-established company that collaborates with a majority of the top global pharmaceutical companies. A structured training system and support from a strong management team are in place.
