Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking a Resident Engineer to join its team in Makkah.

Role Overview

The Resident Engineer will oversee and manage the daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring the property and its assets are maintained to high standards. This full-time position involves monitoring maintenance work, implementing engineering systems, and coordinating with various departments to address operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates.
• Ensure property and assets are maintained through effective management of the Jumeirah Engineering Management System.
• Monitor completed repair and maintenance works to ensure established standards are met.
• Assist in the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the JEMS, including the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM, and Work Order Systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property and engineering systems to identify maintenance requirements and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Coordinate with relevant hotel departments to ensure engineering requests and operational requirements are addressed in a timely manner.
• Monitor the performance of contractors, suppliers, and external service providers to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Communicate engineering and project updates to internal departments and external entities professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based at Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah in Makkah.
