About the Role

JAL International Co. Ltd. is seeking a qualified Building Inspector to join their team. This contract position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Region, and focuses on ensuring the successful handover of building projects.

Role Overview

The Building Inspector plays a critical role in managing the transition of completed projects from the Project Management Team (PMT) to Facility Management (FMD). This involves rigorous verification of building readiness, compliance with specifications, and the resolution of any outstanding issues prior to final acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the building handover process, facilitating the transition from the Project Management Team (PMT) to Facility Management (FMD).
• Verify building inspection readiness and ensure full compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Monitor all testing and commissioning activities to confirm successful completion and adherence to standards.
• Identify and address any handover gaps or deficiencies before the final acceptance stage.
• Provide technical evaluations and support to Facility Management (FMD) for informed handover decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience specifically in building or project handover processes.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
• Proficiency in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in facility handover protocols and best practices.

Location and Employment Type
