About the Role

Mammoet is seeking an experienced Crane Technician (Mechanic) to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is essential for maintaining the operational readiness and safety of the company's heavy lift and transportation equipment. The role contributes to the successful execution of complex projects within the Heavy Lift and Transportation industry by ensuring the fleet meets high industry standards.

This role involves working with diverse mechanical equipment, including various power transmission systems and auxiliary equipment. Responsibilities encompass all aspects of equipment maintenance, from routine inspections and preventative measures to complex repairs and modifications, ensuring the reliability and performance of specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is maintained in line with applicable standards and instructions.
• Perform comprehensive maintenance and repair services on a variety of mechanical equipment.
• Execute high-quality work, including detailed inspections, preventative maintenance, renovations, and modifications.
• Contribute to new-build projects as required, addressing all mechanical aspects.
• Work on different types of mechanical (auxiliary) equipment related to diverse power transmission systems.
• Prepare and sequence maintenance activities, ensuring necessary tools and spare parts are checked and available.
• Adhere strictly to all safety requirements and standards, including Health, Sustainability, and Social wellbeing requirements.
• Follow all maintenance standards and procedures, utilizing equipment manuals, technical schemes, manufacturer manuals, and work orders.
• Maintain and repair Driver & Control systems, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, and Electronics systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Heavy Lift and Transportation industry.
• Possess relevant Safety Training & Certification.

Required Skills

• Mechanical expertise.
• Automotive Engineering knowledge.
• Experience in the Heavy Lift and Transportation industry.
• Proficiency in inspection, prevention, renovation, and modification of equipment.
• Familiarity with mechanical (auxiliary) equipment.
• Understanding of power transmission systems.
• Skilled in maintenance and repair services.
• Expertise in Driver & Control systems.
• Proficiency with Hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with Pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of Electronics systems.
• Experience with SPMT (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter) is considered a strong asset.
• Effective communication skills.

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience within the Heavy Lift and Transportation industry.
