About the Role

Takween Plast is seeking a Production & Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in the Eastern region, specifically in Riyadh or Al Jubail. This full-time role involves direct supervision of plastic pipe production and extrusion lines, ensuring product quality and compliance with established standards. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Production & Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process of plastic pipes, from raw material mixing to final product inspection. This position requires a focus on operational efficiency, adherence to precise manufacturing standards, and rigorous quality control to meet both local and international specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly supervise production and extrusion lines for various plastic pipes (HDPE, PVC, cPVC, PPR) to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor raw material mixing ratios and implement precise manufacturing standards to achieve approved product specifications.
• Manage and guide laboratory technicians in conducting periodic quality tests, including hydrostatic pressure testing, impact resistance, UV exposure, and thermal expansion.
• Ensure all finished products fully comply with local and international quality standards such as SASO, ISO, and ASTM.
• Analyze production data to identify causes of waste and develop methods to reduce costs and increase productivity.
• Manage pre-delivery inspection processes and issue product conformity certificates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of practical experience in plastic manufacturing, with previous experience in plastic pipe manufacturing facilities being highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and statistical analysis methods.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to make critical, rapid decisions within a factory environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, with potential placements in Riyadh or Al Jubail. The role operates within a manufacturing setting, requiring direct involvement with production lines and quality control processes.
