About the Role

AHACO Industrial Services is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager to join their team in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for identifying new business opportunities and developing strong client relationships within the industrial maintenance and technical services sector.

Role Purpose and Context

The Technical Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth by expanding AHACO’s portfolio of industrial maintenance and technical services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical services, industrial operations, maintenance, contracting, or engineering-related solutions, combined with robust business development, communication, and proposal preparation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial, commercial, and technical service sectors.
• Research potential clients, projects, tenders, and market opportunities.
• Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, online platforms, direct outreach, and client visits.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Present AHACO’s services, technical capabilities, and value propositions to potential clients.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and prequalification documents.
• Support tender submissions, request-for-quotation responses, and vendor registration processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, finance, and management teams during proposal development.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor industrial trends, upcoming projects, shutdowns, maintenance contracts, and emerging market requirements.
• Maintain and update the sales pipeline, client database, opportunity records, and follow-up activities.
• Track business development targets, proposal status, conversion rates, and key performance indicators.
• Arrange and attend client meetings, technical discussions, presentations, and site visits.
• Support commercial negotiations and contract-closing activities with senior management.
• Follow up on submitted proposals, quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and client feedback.
• Represent the company professionally at exhibitions, networking events, conferences, and business meetings.
• Prepare periodic business development reports and forecasts for management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• A technical or engineering background is strongly preferred.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, contracting, facility management, engineering services, construction, or technical services is preferred.
• Good understanding of industrial services and technical project requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender documents.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong client relationship management and lead-generation skills.
• Knowledge of sales pipelines, business development processes, and B2B sales cycles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems.
• Ability to travel for client meetings and site visits when required.
• A valid Saudi driving license is an advantage.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role requires the ability to travel for client engagements and site visits as needed. Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia with valid work authorization are preferred.
