About the Accountant General Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Accountant General to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role involves managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of figures, postings, and financial documents.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and generate associated reports as specified.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
  • Follow up on and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until full payment is received or the issue is resolved.
  • Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all cash handling employees.
  • Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances.
  • Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts.

  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Support team efforts to achieve common goals.
  • Listen to and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, within the Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts organization.
