Accountant

About the Role

Kent is seeking a full-time Accountant to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This role involves managing financial entries, reporting, and ensuring compliance within a 48-hour work week structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare all accounting entries accurately and meet corporate deadlines.
• Ensure timely invoice preparation in accordance with contractual commercial terms.
• Manage cash flow accurately and effectively.
• Report and analyze financial results precisely.
• Calculate billing and cost rates, and analyze margins to manage profitability.
• Prepare annual plans and quarterly reforecasts in collaboration with Business Management and the Finance team.
• Ensure compliance with the financial management framework within the designated area of control.
• Focus on cash collection, optimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimizing unbilled items, while ensuring these balance sheet areas are reconciled, analyzed, and controlled.
• Liaise with external, internal, and client auditors.
• Coordinate with business managers and contracts administrators regarding contractual aspects.
• Execute various ad hoc financial analyses and tasks as required.
• Provide support to other accountants within the business.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations and ensure compliance.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role requires adherence to the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) rules set by Kent, its clients, and the governing authorities of the host country.
