The Data Protection Officer Role

PayLink is seeking a Data Protection Officer to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing data privacy practices and ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. The Data Protection Officer will serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities regarding data privacy matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee data privacy practices within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities on data protection issues.
• Draft and maintain privacy policies and procedures.
• Monitor adherence to data protection requirements across all operations.
• Conduct risk assessments related to data privacy.
• Advise internal teams on the privacy implications of new products and processes.
• Handle data subject requests in accordance with privacy regulations.
• Lead privacy impact assessments for new initiatives.
• Organize and deliver staff training on data protection best practices.
