About the Opportunity

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead for a contract position in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for a biotechnology-based protein production facility on behalf of our client.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for a biotechnology-based protein production facility.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality plans, applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Establish, implement, and maintain quality management systems, inspection and test plans (ITPs), audit programs, and quality surveillance processes across all project phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
Coordinate with project management, engineering, construction teams, contractors, equipment vendors, and client representatives to resolve quality issues and close non-conformances.
Ensure successful project delivery and operational readiness, specifically supporting the delivery of a food-grade manufacturing facility.
Promote quality excellence, traceability, documentation control, cleanliness standards, and compliance with applicable food, biotechnology, and regulated manufacturing requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) roles on industrial capital projects.
Proven experience working on projects within Saudi Arabia.
Strong knowledge of international quality standards, quality management systems, and project quality requirements.

Preferred Experience

Experience on ATLS projects.
Experience within food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, fermentation, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting the delivery of food, pharmaceutical, biotech, or GMP-regulated facilities, including quality oversight during construction, commissioning, qualification, and readiness activities.
