About the Role

MOBCO Group is seeking an experienced Technical Office Engineer – Architecture to join their project team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in architectural technical office functions to support project execution and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Review Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings, specifications, and project requirements for accurate implementation.
• Prepare and submit material submittals, technical submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, site teams, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Review architectural details to identify design conflicts, constructability concerns, and coordination issues.
• Provide technical clarifications and engineering solutions to support site teams.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and assist in material planning and procurement.
• Coordinate architectural interfaces with Structural, MEP, and Interior Design teams.
• Monitor design revisions and ensure all changes are properly documented and implemented.
• Participate in technical meetings and support project progress monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved drawings.
• Assist in project handover documentation and close-out activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• 5-10 years of experience in a Technical Office and Architectural Engineering role.
• Proven experience in building construction projects.
• Proficiency in preparing shop drawings, technical submissions, and design coordination.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methodologies, and finishing works.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in Architectural Technical Office roles.
• Previous experience with contracting companies is preferred.
• Strong background in architectural shop drawings and technical coordination.
• Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries is an advantage.
