About the Role: The Senior Accountant at AlQahtani Holding plays a critical role in the financial control team, ensuring accuracy in cost accounting and supporting strategic decision-making through detailed cost analysis. This position is vital for enhancing cost efficiency and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and analyze standard costs of products and services.
- Perform variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor and report on inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to costing.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary costing documentation and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal departments for cost accuracy and transparency.
- Process accurate journal entries other than payables and receivables, including provisions and accruals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline costing processes and improve accuracy.
- Prepare detailed cost reports for management review.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on cost trends and KPIs.
- Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and cost impact analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 35 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP S4/HANA (ERP).
