About the Role

Mehad | مهاد is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Financial Manager to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, specializing in financial analysis, real estate investments, and accounting team leadership. The Financial Manager will be instrumental in overseeing financial operations, conducting comprehensive feasibility studies, and ensuring robust financial planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive feasibility studies for new projects and opportunities, including financial scenario analysis (best, medium, worst) and potential risk evaluation.
  • Accurately measure and report on key financial indicators such as IRR, NPV, and ROI, providing well-considered investment recommendations.
  • Manage investment funds and portfolios, actively working to secure necessary funding sources.
  • Lead and manage the accounting team, defining goals, distributing tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting regular employee evaluations.
  • Oversee the training and development of the accounting team on the latest accounting standards and modern accounting software, fostering knowledge transfer and efficient onboarding.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of all accounting operations, including reviewing accounts, verifying figures and balances, and reducing discrepancies.
  • Supervise the management of financial accounts, monitor accounts receivable and payable, and manage customer and supplier accounts.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including trial balances, income statements (P&L), balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor the issuance of correct invoices, document all accounting operations, and maintain organized accounting archives and strong documentation procedures.
  • Conduct financial analysis of statements and performance, prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management, and provide recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and tax obligations, preparing tax declarations and communicating with relevant governmental and financial entities.
  • Manage and improve accounting systems (*, SAP, Odoo), provide training on new software, and ensure data integration.
  • Develop monthly and annual budgets, conduct financial forecasting, and plan for cash flow and liquidity, as well as cost and expense management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Financial Management or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis and real estate investments.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing an accounting team.
  • Demonstrated specialization in feasibility studies and financial evaluation.
  • Proven experience in managing real estate investment funds.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Deep knowledge of advanced financial indicators, including ROI and IRR.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial and accounting software (*, SAP, Odoo).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and other relevant accounting and legal compliance frameworks.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of accountants and assistants.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills within a team environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and application of high accounting standards.
