Hitachi Energy is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is integral to maintaining high standards of product quality and operational excellence.

Role Overview: Quality Control Technician

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for executing incoming inspection protocols and accurately documenting all findings and results within SAP. This position involves precisely labeling compliant components with identification tags and isolating non-compliant components in designated areas. A key aspect of the role is initiating the supplier non-conformance management process to report issues back to suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement HSE requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of purchased parts, materials, samples, and assemblies.
• Document all inspection results thoroughly as required.
• Report any observed deviations during incoming inspection to the Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.
• Create quality inspection records and apply visual indications on inspected parts according to established procedures.
• Generate Nonconformity reports and diligently track their status.
• Record and track the daily Incoming Quality Control (IQC) inspection backlog.
• Maintain traceability of component materials concerning their inspection status.
• Handle materials in accordance with procedures to prevent mix-ups, damage, or other adverse effects.
• Log and track materials throughout the receiving inspection process and ensure accurate SAP entries.
• Record transactions and move materials to the accepted material area.
• Communicate inspection results effectively to Quality Engineers and other relevant personnel.
• Verify the accuracy of assembly documentation and interpret engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with other departments for deviation detection, root cause analysis, and the implementation of correction measures.
• Support failure analysis, troubleshooting, site visits, reporting, and quality processes, utilizing the A3 template for analysis.
• Perform any other projects or duties assigned by management to fulfill job requirements.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Quality Control Technician position should have 0-2 years of experience in a relevant quality control or technical inspection role.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role requires on-site presence to manage incoming inspections and collaborate with various departments.
