About the Warehouse Planning Specialist Role

CemServ is seeking a Warehouse Planning Specialist to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in inventory management and warehouse operations. The role is central to ensuring the efficient flow of materials within an industrial environment, directly supporting production and procurement activities.

Role Objective and Context

The primary objective of this role is to plan and optimize warehouse inventory and material flow. This involves ensuring that necessary materials are available for production while simultaneously minimizing excess stock and operational inefficiencies. The position operates within an industrial setting that handles raw materials, fabricated parts, and components, requiring close collaboration with production and procurement departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent material availability for production needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory planning records.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance availability with carrying costs.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance overall warehouse efficiency.

Balancing Operational Demands

This role requires a strategic approach to balancing competing demands. A key aspect of the position is to ensure the continuous availability of materials for production processes. Simultaneously, the specialist must focus on maintaining efficient working capital by preventing the accumulation of unnecessary inventory. Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience in warehouse planning or inventory control.
• Demonstrated experience with inventory planning methodologies, including min/max levels and safety stock calculations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
