As a leading company in quality assurance, Fulkrum is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector to oversee rubber lining applications in critical oil and gas infrastructure. This role is pivotal in maintaining the quality and integrity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect rubber lining applications on oil & gas equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications, NACE, ASTM, and API standards.
- Monitor surface preparation and rubber lining processes.
- Conduct rigorous testing including spark testing, holiday detection, and adhesion testing.
- Verify environmental conditions during application and curing phases.
- Review technical drawings and prepare detailed inspection reports.
- Coordinate with contractors and client representatives for timely inspections.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards during inspection activities.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
- NACE Coating Inspector Level 1 or 2 preferred.
- 35 years of experience in rubber lining inspection within the oil & gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of rubber lining materials and application techniques.
