Whitecollars is seeking a Business Development Project Manager (Event and Exhibition) to join a growing luxury interior design and construction company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to establishing and scaling the company's new Events & Exhibitions department. The successful candidate will report directly to executive leadership and will be responsible for driving business growth and managing projects from inception to completion.

Role Overview

The Events & Exhibitions Project Manager will serve as the strategic and operational lead for the new department. This involves navigating tender platforms, expanding client networks across Saudi Arabia, and overseeing all project phases. The role requires managing cross-functional teams, supplier networks, and key client relationships to ensure project success and contribute to company revenue within the events sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor tender platforms such as Etimad and Manafesat, and prepare technical and financial proposals.
• Expand the client network within Saudi Arabia to secure new business opportunities.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and manage project budgets.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and safeguard profit margins.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, including scheduling, site setup, permit acquisition, subcontractor management, installation, and final handover.
• Recruit and mentor team members for the Events & Exhibitions department.
• Establish efficient workflows and operational procedures for the department.
• Work towards achieving annual revenue targets for the department.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development and project management, specifically within the events and exhibition sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from initial pricing and BOQ preparation to on-site execution and financial closure.
• Experience in monitoring tender platforms and preparing winning proposals.
• Proven track record in expanding client networks and driving business growth.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and supplier relationships.
